Benjamin Mwakilama

Benjamin Mwakilama is a knowledgeable University Lecturer at DMI St. John the Baptist University since May 2023 and has extensive experience in trade finance as a Trade Finance Executive at Euro Exim Bank since January 2022. In addition, Benjamin maintains roles as a Customer Relationship Executive at Airtel Malawi and Tech Mahindra since May 2015 and August 2013, respectively. Previous experience includes serving as a Loan Officer at the National Economic Empowerment Fund in early 2021. Benjamin holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of the People, a Certificate in Forensic and Investigative Accounting from O'Sullivan Consultancies and Forensic Solutions, a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Malawi Adventist University, and a Diploma in Business Information Systems from The Malawi Polytechnic. Currently, Benjamin is pursuing a Doctorate of Business Administration at Unicaf University-Malawi, expected to complete in July 2027.
