George Stratos

George Stratos is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in compliance, operational risk, and strategic development within the banking sector. Currently serving as Division Manager for Subsidiaries Compliance Supervision & Coordination at Eurobank since November 2001, George oversees compliance units in both international and domestic subsidiaries. Previously held roles include Division Head for Audit, Operational Risk and Compliance Monitoring, and Manager positions in Operational Risk and Strategy for Wholesale Banking. Prior to Eurobank, George gained valuable experience as IT Manager at Laiki Bank, where significant expansion occurred, and as Assistant VP at Merrill Lynch, managing major business systems projects. George holds degrees in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University and Digital Signal Processing from City St George’s, University of London, alongside master's studies at Princeton University.
