Gabriela Barreiro

Gabriela Barreiro serves as the Head of Drug Discovery at Eurofarma since October 2014, overseeing initiatives focused on antimicrobials, neglected diseases, CNS, pain, and other therapeutic areas. With a strong background as an experienced computational and medicinal chemist, Gabriela is dedicated to accelerating drug discovery through innovative methodologies. Prior to Eurofarma, experience includes roles as Consultant/Project Manager at Pfizer from 2007 to 2014 and Principal Scientist at UCSF from 2005 to 2007. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Science in Organic & Computational Chemistry, a Master's degree in Organic & Computational Chemistry, and a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.
