Merle Vantassel

Merle VanTassel is a seasoned Senior Field Service Engineer with extensive experience in the diagnostic and life science industries. Currently at Immunodiagnostic Systems, Inc. since August 2009 and concurrently with EUROIMMUN US, Merle has demonstrated expertise in system installation, repair, and maintenance. Previous roles include Field Service Engineer at DiaSorin, Senior Field Service Engineer at Nanogen, and Technical Support/System Support Specialist at Nichols Institute Diagnostics, among others. Merle also served as Western Regional Service Manager at Packard Instrument Company and provided technical support at Dade Behring. A veteran of the US Navy, Merle began a career in technology as a Data System Technician. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Management from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School and an Associate's degree in Business Administration from Palomar College.
