Dennis Koolaard

Dennis Koolaard has extensive experience in international commercial arbitration and international sports law. Currently serving as Chairman of the Appeals Committee and a member of the Disciplinary Committee at the Instituut Sportrechtspraak since April 2014, Koolaard also holds positions as Partner at Nan & Koolaard Arbitration and Disciplinary Judge for Euroleague Basketball. Additional roles include serving as an Ad Hoc Clerk for the Court of Arbitration for Sport since November 2011, Chairman of the Poolcommittee for the KNVB, and Arbitrator for the Qatar Sports Arbitration Foundation. Koolaard's professional contributions also extend to various speaking engagements on topics related to sports law and arbitration. Educational qualifications include Master of Laws degrees in International Sports Law and International & European Labour Law, as well as a Bachelor of Laws degree.
