Cecilia Tamez

Cecilia Tamez has extensive experience in the field of strategy and data science. Cecilia has held the role of Chief Strategy Officer & Head of Data Science at multiple companies, including Euronet Worldwide, Dandelion Payments, Ria Money Transfer, and Xe.com. At Xe.com, they worked closely with the leadership team to develop the company's vision, mission, and strategic objectives. Cecilia also led teams in strategic development, data science & analytics, and project management. Prior to this role, Cecilia served as the Marketing Director at Xe.com, where they led the marketing team through a successful acquisition. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong marketing and leadership skills, developing marketing strategies, managing product implementations, and fostering business partnerships. Cecilia has a strong focus on customer satisfaction and has experience in conflict resolution and client education.

Cecilia Tamez obtained a Masters Certificate in Marketing Leadership from the Schulich School of Business at York University in 2011. Previously, they had completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Combined Honours Modern Languages and French at McMaster University from 1998 to 2004.
