Orsalia Kalantzopoulos

Orsalia Kalantzopoulos serves as the Chairperson and CEO at Europa Re Ltd. since September 2015, having previously held the position of Secretary General at the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank from March 2011 to March 2015. Orsalia's extensive career includes a long tenure at The World Bank, where the role of Country Director was undertaken from August 1983 to March 2011. Orsalia Kalantzopoulos holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, completed between 1976 and 1980, and an academic background from the Athens School of Economics and Business, where studies were pursued from 1971 to 1975.
