Chris Broadbent

Chris Broadbent is a seasoned professional in sports communication and sustainability, currently serving as the Founder and Chief Executive of Planet Earth Games since November 2017, where the organization won the 2022 British Sustainable Sport Awards. As a Sustainability Champion on the board of Devon County Football Association Limited and a Website Editor for European Athletics, Chris contributes to promoting sustainable practices in sports. Freelance writing for the International Olympic Committee and hosting the Athletics Life Stories podcast further demonstrate Chris's commitment to the athletics community. With experience as a writer for World Athletics and a co-founder of a marketing agency, Chris has a strong background in media, communications, and event management, previously leading communications for the London Youth Games and managing marketing for Water Babies Ltd, the world's largest baby swimming company. Chris holds a BA (Hons) in Communication Studies from Queen Margaret University.
