Chief Accountant at European Azerbaijan School

Sevinj Akhundova has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of accounting and HR. Sevinj began their career in 2010 at American Councils Azerbaijan, where they served as an Accountant and HR personnel until 2017. During this time, they also worked at FUGA GROUP as an Accountant from 2012 to 2017.

In 2013, Sevinj joined Yeni Nesil Tibb Merkezi as a Chief Accountant and HR professional, working until 2015. Sevinj also had a brief stint at Interflug as part of their Travel Agency team.

From 2016 to 2017, they worked at European Azerbaijan School as an Account Assistant. This was followed by a role as an Accountant Assistant and Cashier at the same institution in 2017.

In 2018, Sevinj held the position of an Accountant at Professional Support Center. Later in the same year, they returned to European Azerbaijan School, serving as an Accountant. Finally, in July 2020, they were promoted to the role of Chief Accountant at European Azerbaijan School.

Sevinj Akhundova attended the Baku Production and Pedagogical Technical School from 2007 to 2010, where they studied Accounting and Finance. Sevinj then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management at Anadolu University starting in 2022, and their studies are ongoing. In addition to their formal education, Sevinj has obtained additional certifications such as a Diploma in IFRS from THE INSTITUTE OF CERTIFIED FINANCIAL MANAGERS in June 2023 and certifications in Accounting Fundamentals and Reading Financial Statements from Corporate Finance Institute® (CFI) in September 2020.
