Dr. Maria Tzanidaki

Dr. Maria Tzanidaki currently serves as Principal Manager in the PPP Advisory Unit of the Sustainable Infrastructure Group at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), focusing on Public-Private Partnership project preparation for the Greek Project Preparation Facility. Previously, Dr. Tzanidaki held the position of PPP Infrastructure Lead at Samaras & Associates SA, where responsibilities included technical and financial advisory roles and project finance across various large infrastructure projects. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Development Economics and International Development from the University of Surrey, along with an MBA in Business Law and an LLB in International Business, Trade, and Tax Law from Coventry University. Additional certifications in negotiation skills from Yale University and solid waste management complement Dr. Tzanidaki's extensive experience in policy design and community health initiatives.
