Klara Krol has extensive experience in financial governance and policy development, currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) since September 2011. Prior to this role, Klara Krol was the Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Finance from August 2008 to August 2011 and held various positions within the Ministry, including Head of the Banking Unit and Legal Specialist. Klara Krol's educational background includes a Master of International Public Policy with a focus on International Law and Legal Studies from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), obtained in 2021, alongside a Master in Law and Public Administration from the University of West Bohemia, Pilsen, awarded in 2003.
