Yuri Colombi has a diverse education history. In 1979, they attended Athénée Royal de Soumagne, where they completed their secondary education in humanities, focusing on sciences and mathematics. After finishing secondary school, Yuri enrolled at the University of Liège in 1981 and studied there until 1987. During this period, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, earning a Licence en Biochimie.

In 1992, Yuri joined HEC Liège and pursued an Executive Master in Management, which they completed in 1994. This program provided him with advanced knowledge in management practices and leadership skills.

Apart from their academic pursuits, Yuri Colombi obtained a certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) in April 2008. This certification, known as Project Management Professional, demonstrates their expertise in project management and further strengthens their skillset in this field.
