Neil Farmer

Neil Farmer is a highly experienced pilot currently serving as Captain of the A340-600 at European Cargo since May 2020, along with holding the position of Senior First Officer for the same aircraft. Prior to this role, Neil worked at Virgin Atlantic from January 2017 to October 2020 as a Senior First Officer on Airbus A330/A340 aircraft before being made redundant due to COVID-19. Earlier experience includes positions as Senior First Officer with Thomas Cook Group plc, CityJet, and Air Astana, as well as First Officer at VLM Airlines. Neil also has a background in flight instruction, having served as Flight School Manager and Flying Instructor at NWCAS, as well as instructing at Ravenair & Liverpool Aviation Services.
