Giulio Cesani

Giulio Cesani is a seasoned Supervision Analyst with extensive experience in banking supervision and risk management. Currently serving at the European Central Bank since September 2023, Giulio is involved in the oversight of a significant bank as part of a Joint Supervisory Team, focusing on credit risk, governance, and climate risk. Prior to this role, Giulio worked at the Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution (ACPR) from November 2021 to August 2023, also as part of a Joint Supervisory Team for a major French credit institution. Giulio's background includes significant positions at the European Central Bank in various capacities related to banking authorization and micro-prudential supervision, and experience in consulting on anti-money laundering at PwC France. Giulio holds multiple Master's degrees from Sciences Po and Università Bocconi, as well as a Bachelor's degree from EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht.
