Ioana Lucia Pasolea

Ioana Lucia Pasolea is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel at the European Central Bank since April 2017, having progressed through various roles including Legal Counsel and Legal Analyst. Prior to this, Ioana held a position as a Blue Book Trainee in DG Competition at the European Commission from October 2016 to February 2017 and worked as an Associate Lawyer at Popovici Nitu Stoica & Asociatii from January 2013 to September 2016. Ioana's academic background includes multiple advanced degrees in law, with a Master of Laws in European Competition Law and Regulation from the University of Amsterdam, a Master of Laws in International Arbitration from the University of Bucharest, and another Master of Laws in European and International Business Law from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, complemented by bachelor's degrees in Romanian Law and French Law from the University of Bucharest and the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, respectively.
