Lydia Vian de Fuentes

Lydia Vian de Fuentes is a seasoned banking supervision analyst at the European Central Bank, responsible for planning on-site and internal model inspections across Europe’s banking system. Lydia has also contributed as a crisis management analyst, developing methodologies and frameworks to assess banking institutions' performance and manage crisis scenarios, and began as a trainee within the same division. Prior experiences include serving as a venture capital analyst at KPN Ventures, where investments were made in deep-tech companies, and participating in a global talent network with Nova Talent. Academic qualifications encompass a BSc in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad Pontificia Comillas, a Bachelor of Business Administration from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, and ongoing Master's studies in Applied Mathematics with a focus on Financial Engineering at Delft University of Technology. Additional training includes intensive leadership development programs and internships in consulting and cyber-security.
