Mikko Vaurio

Mikko Vaurio is a seasoned professional in the field of information technology and security, currently serving as a Digital Security Expert at the European Central Bank since June 2022 and as an Information Security Analyst at the Bank of Finland since November 2020. Previous roles include positions such as Information Technology Specialist and Data Protection Officer at Savon ICT-palvelut Oy, IT Specialist at Sandvik, and Security Specialist at Istekki Oy. Vaurio has extensive experience in system and IT consulting through roles at Ponsse Oyj, DNA Oy, TDC Hosting Oy, Kaisanet Oy, and Iisalmen Puhelin Oy, beginning in 2007. An educational background in Computer Science was obtained from Tampere University, culminating in a Master of Science degree.
