Piotr Turek

Piotr Turek is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Director of the Communications Department at Narodowy Bank Polski since September 2016, with prior roles including Acting Director and Deputy Director in the Public Relations & Marketing Department. Turek is also a member of the Eurosystem/European System of Central Banks Communication Committee at the European Central Bank. Additional experience includes serving as Rector at Szkoła Główna Mikołaja Kopernika, working as an expert at the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of Poland, and founding IMS. Turek has held various managerial positions across notable companies in digital content, new media, and public relations. Academic credentials include a PhD in Economics from SGH Warsaw School of Economics and studies at Harvard University and Columbia University.
