Romek Vinke

Romek Vinke is an experienced research analyst currently working at the European Central Bank since February 2022, focusing on the Consolidated Banking Data project. Prior to this role, Romek completed a master's thesis internship at Centraal Planbureau examining corporate tax avoidance in the Netherlands, contributing to an official publication. In a previous position at Maxima Medisch Centrum, Romek supported patient care through data analysis and operational efficiency initiatives. Additional experience includes research on military cooperation at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the United States, business development leadership at SOLID, and internships focusing on supply chain operations and sales forecasting at Usono. Romek holds a Master's degree in Econometrics & Mathematical Economics from Tilburg University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology.
