Alex Niculae

Alex Niculae possesses extensive experience in communications within various organizations, currently serving as a Communications Officer at the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) since October 2019. Previously, Alex held the position of Press Officer at the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) from October 2017 to September 2019 and served as a Corporate Communications Specialist at Europol from January 2015 to September 2017, focusing on media relations. Earlier roles include Spokesperson and Senior Specialist in Corporate Communications at the Ministry of Home Affairs - National Police from October 2011 to December 2014, and Corporate Communications Specialist and Spokesperson at the Ministry of Home Affairs - National Gendarmerie from July 2008 to September 2011. Alex holds a Master's Degree in Communications and Public Relations and a Bachelor's degree in Law from 'Alexandru I. Cuza' Police Academy.
