Hiromizu Takahashi

Hiromizu Takahashi is a Visiting Scientist at the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) since March 2022, previously serving as an Infectious Disease Emergency Specialist at 厚生労働省 from April 2020 to February 2022. Takahashi held the position of Assistant Professor at 順天堂大学附属順天堂医院 from April 2010 to March 2020 and worked as a physician at 新島村健康保険診療所 for a brief period from August 2015 to January 2016. As a Research Fellow at the National Children's Research Centre from May 2012 to July 2014, Takahashi focused on congenital diaphragmatic hernia. Takahashi completed medical training at Tokai University, culminating in a degree in General Practice in March 2020, and previously participated in the residency program at Tokai University from April 2008 to March 2010. Education also includes an undergraduate medical degree from Tokai University, obtained between April 2002 and March 2008.
