Svens Henkuzens

Svens Henkuzens is an experienced healthcare professional currently serving as a Targeted Country Support Officer at the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) since January 2022. Previously, Svens was a member of the Heads of Medicines Agencies Management Group from February 2019 to May 2021 and held the position of Director at the State Agency of Medicines of Latvia until May 2021. Additionally, Svens was a Member of the Management Board at the European Medicines Agency during the same period. Prior to these roles, Svens worked as a Health Attaché at the Permanent Representation of Latvia to the EU from January 2014 to July 2015. Svens holds a Master's degree in Healthcare Policy, Innovation and Management and a Bachelor's degree in European Public Health, both from Maastricht University.
