Alessandro Giordano is a Transport Policy Senior Researcher at the European Commission since November 2021. Previously, Alessandro pursued a dual-degree PhD in Engineering and Public Policy through Carnegie Mellon University and Instituto Superior Técnico from November 2013 to May 2020, supported by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology. Alessandro also served as a Teaching Assistant for graduate courses related to Energy and Technology Policy during this period. Prior to academic roles, Alessandro was a Project Manager at Inteli, where expertise in the management and coordination of European Commission projects was developed. Educational qualifications include a PhD and M.Sc. in Engineering and Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University, an MBA in International Business and Economics from Università di Pavia, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Università di Pavia.
