Bogdan Bogdanov

Bogdan Bogdanov is a seasoned professional at the European Commission, serving as a Policy Assistant to the Director-General in DG ECFIN since October 2012. Prior roles within the same directorate have included positions as an economist focusing on the Netherlands and Lithuania, the US and global economy, and as a policy officer for the G20 and G7. Prior to joining the European Commission, Bogdanov gained experience as a research associate at the Swiss National Bank and as an external consultant and trainee at the European Central Bank. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Management from SDA Bocconi, professional training at the European University Institute, a G20 Global Leadership Program at KDI School, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Computer Science from the American University in Bulgaria.
