Dana Eleftheriadou

Senior Expert On Digital Health at European Commission

Dana Eleftheriadou serves as the Head of the Intelligent Cities and Proximity Team at the European Commission since September 1994, where responsibilities include guiding strategies for urban and industrial advancement and organizing influential conferences and summits. Previously, Dana led the Advanced Technologies and Digitisation of Industry Team, focusing on digital transformation and policy support for small enterprises. Earlier roles included Team Leader for eBusiness at the Commission, where Dana developed eBusiness policies and engaged in transatlantic dialogues on e-commerce. Prior to the European Commission, Dana worked as a Programme Manager at Microsoft and the Computer Logic Group Inc. Dana holds an MBA from Université libre de Bruxelles and a Beng in Computer Engineering from the University of Patras, along with a certificate in Philosophy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
