Dr. Evangelos Gazis

Dr. Evangelos Gazis is a prominent expert in IoT security and technology strategy, currently serving as Chief Architect for IoT Security at Huawei Technologies since April 2017, where responsibilities include overseeing the security architecture for IoT products across global business units. Dr. Gazis contributes to the European Commission's DG MOVE C-ITS Expert Group and the ENISA IoT Security Expert Group. Previous roles include Director of Big Data at Cognizant, Lead IoT Scientist at AGT International, and a series of positions at the University of Athens, Technical University of Crete, University of the Aegean, and University of Piraeus, focusing on teaching and research in computer networking and system architecture. Dr. Gazis holds a Ph.D. in Informatics and multiple degrees in Business Administration and Communication Systems from renowned Greek institutions.
