Elias Kühn von Burgsdorff

Elias Kühn von Burgsdorff has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Elias currently works as a Speechwriter for the President of the European Commission, where they are responsible for crafting speeches and communicating the Commission's initiatives. Prior to this role, they served as a Policy Officer - Strategic Foresight in the Secretariat-General of the European Commission, focusing on climate, energy, and foreign policy. Elias also worked as an Intern in the Cabinet of Employment and Social Affairs, contributing to negotiations on the European Semester and Multiannual Financial Framework. Before their work in the European Commission, Elias gained experience as an Editor for Are We Europe and The Economist. Elias also worked as a UX Consultant for Apolitical and an Editor for Graphite Publications. Additionally, Elias completed an internship as a Management Consultant at Rocket Internet SE, where they managed various projects and teams. Early in their career, they served as an Investigative Reporter for Ground Up and Co-Founder of Graphite Publications. Elias also gained experience as an Intern: Investigative Reporter at In These Times and as an Intern: Reporter and Photographer at Free Voice and Radio Tamazuj.

Elias Kühn von Burgsdorff completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and History at McGill University from 2011 to 2015. Elias then pursued their Master's degree in Philosophy and Public Policy at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2016 to 2017.
