Emanuele Quaranta is a highly skilled Senior Scientific Officer at the European Commission, specializing in the Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystem Nexus and water resilience, with extensive experience in clean energy technology and hydropower. Emanuele's expertise encompasses wastewater treatment, technical engineering, and the implementation of nature-based solutions for enhancing water and climate resilience in the European Union. In addition to current roles in organizations such as UNIDO, ETIP Hydropower, and the International Energy Agency, Emanuele is involved in scientific research and project evaluation related to hydropower, while also contributing to scientific literature and international congresses as a referee and guest editor.
