Helen Köpman

Helen Köpman has over 30 years of experience in various roles related to technology and innovation, primarily within the European Commission since July 2003, where key positions include Deputy Head of Unit for AI for Societal Good and Platform Policy & Enforcement, focusing on technological and economic assessments. Previous roles include Deputy Head of Unit for Digital Innovation & Blockchain and ICT for Mobility, supporting the Directorates General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology, and Information Society and Media. Earlier experience encompasses product management at Infonet, IT strategy at AT&T Unisource, and ICT intelligence analysis at the Swedish Agency for Growth Policy Analysis. Helen Köpman holds a Master's degree in Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering from Linköping University and additional education from INSEAD.
