MacIej Markowski

Maciej Markowski, PMP, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in quality assurance and training standards within higher education and accreditation. Currently serving as the Senior Training Standards and Quality Officer at the European Union Agency for Asylum since April 2021, Markowski also contributes as a HEInnovate expert facilitator for the European Commission. As a member of the Accreditation Council for Engaged and Entrepreneurial Universities since September 2016, Markowski promotes institutional excellence in higher education. Additionally, Markowski has been a Quality Assurance Expert for the Polish Accreditation Committee since February 2006, actively participating in institutional assessments. Previous roles include International Policy Advisor for the European Consortium for Accreditation in higher education and Chair of both the Board and Certification Group. Markowski holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration and Management from Gdańsk University of Technology.
