Peer Hasselmeyer

Peer Hasselmeyer is a seasoned professional in cloud architecture and research with extensive experience in both consultancy and academia. Currently serving as Principal Consultant and Cloud Architect at Lufthansa Industry Solutions since September 2019, Peer has also been an Independent Expert for the European Commission since January 2009, focusing on proposal evaluation and project review. Prior roles include Senior Researcher at NEC Laboratories Europe, where research concentrated on cloud systems, NFV platforms, and SDN solutions, as well as positions at NEC Europe Ltd as Senior Solution Architect and Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe as Research Scientist. Peer holds a PhD in Computer Science from Technische Universität Darmstadt, where earlier education also included a Master of Science degree, alongside additional studies at the University of Colorado Boulder.
