Vincent Hurkens is an experienced policy advisor currently serving as an Adviser in the cabinet of the Executive Vice-President for Prosperity and Industrial Strategy at the European Commission since December 2024. Prior to this role, Vincent held the position of Programme Lead for EU Politics and Governance at E3G from April 2024 to December 2024, and served as a Senior Policy Advisor at the European Parliament from November 2009 to April 2024, providing political and policy advice to the Dutch Green delegation on various topics including sustainable finance and economic policy. Vincent's previous experience includes roles as a policy officer at the Permanent Representation of The Netherlands to the EU, a trainee at the European Commission, a trainee at the Embassy of the Netherlands in Berlin, and an intern at SOLIDAR. Vincent holds a Master’s degree in Political Sciences from Radboud University, among other academic qualifications.
