Arancha Gonzalez Laya currently serves as a Member of the Board of Trustees at Bertelsmann Stiftung, a Board Member at the European Council on Foreign Relations, and an Advisory Council Member for the Munich Security Conference, all positions held since early 2023. Additionally, Arancha holds the role of Dean at PSIA Paris School of International Affairs, Sciences Po, and is a member of #GWLvoices - Voices for Change and Inclusion since August 2021. Previously, Arancha was the Minister of Foreign Affairs, EU and Cooperation of Spain from January 2020 to July 2021 and served as the Executive Director of the International Trade Centre from 2013 to 2020. Arancha's extensive experience includes serving as Chief of Staff at the WTO, where responsibilities included representation at the G20, and various roles at the European Commission focusing on trade relations. Academic credentials include an LLM in European Law from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and a Law degree from the University of Navarra.
