Philipp Dengler-Jia /

Philipp Dengler-Jia, an expert in technical and legal aspects of new technologies, currently serves as an Expert at the European Data Protection Board since January 2024. Prior experience includes working as a Senior Ecommerce & Portal Manager for Data Protection at Telefónica Germany since July 2020, and contributing as a Product Owner for Customer Data Management at Daimler AG between December 2019 and May 2020. An extensive career also includes roles such as Customer Journey Manager and IT Multi-Project Manager at BMW Group, and IT Project Manager & Product Owner at Haiberg GmbH. Philipp co-founded and led Unilive GbR from July 2009 to July 2013. Educational qualifications include an Executive Certificate in Artificial Intelligence from the University of California, Berkeley, a diploma in Law and Economics from the University of Augsburg, and an AI Product Manager Nanodegree from Udacity.
