Andrea Arancibia Alfaro

Andrea Arancibia Alfaro is a professional in environmental sciences with extensive experience in research and forestry. Currently serving as a Junior Expert at the Bioregions Facility of the European Forest Institute since July 2023, Andrea has also held the position of Research Officer at ClimaTalk since October 2021. Previous roles include Trainee at the Bioregions Facility of the European Forest Institute, Project team member at the Global Landscapes Forum focusing on Latin America and the Caribbean, and Research Assistant at the University of Koblenz and Landau. Andrea's research experience includes notable projects such as the PRODIGY project and the Bamboo Value Chain project at Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina. Educational qualifications include two Master's degrees in Environmental Sciences from the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna and the University of Hohenheim, as well as a degree in Forest Engineering from Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina.
