Anna-Maria Farsakoglou

Anna-Maria Farsakoglou currently serves as a Researcher at the European Forest Institute, providing scientific and technical support to the European Forest Genetic Resources Programme (EUFORGEN) since March 2020. Previously, Anna-Maria was a Graduate Research Assistant at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki from September 2016 to March 2020. In addition, Anna-Maria completed a two-month training at the National Agricultural Research Foundation's Forest Research Institute in the Laboratory of Forest Entomology in April 2014, focusing on a project about genetic differentiation among populations of Corythucha ciliata in Western Greece. Anna-Maria holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Quantitative Genetics and Genome Analysis from The University of Edinburgh (2015-2016) and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Forestry and Natural Environment from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2009-2014).
