Rik de Vreese

Rik De Vreese is a seasoned professional in the fields of urban forestry and landscape ecology, currently serving as a Senior Expert and Team Leader for Urban Forestry at the European Forest Institute since November 2017. Concurrently, Rik De Vreese holds the position of Visiting Professor in Landscape Ecology at Ghent University. As a self-employed independent researcher, Rik De Vreese conducts research focused on urban and peri-urban forestry and ecosystem services.
