Luis Ruano Marrón

Luis Ruano Marrón has extensive experience in venture capital and financial management, currently serving as CEO and CFO at RICARI since May 2010. Additionally, Luis is an EIC Expert Jury member for the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency since February 2023 and has held advisory and board positions at various companies, including Norpoo Electronics, idoneo, Viewed, and Melboss Music. As an Associate Professor at the Universidad de La Rioja, Luis teaches subjects in accounting and finance. Academic credentials include a PhD in Economics and multiple degrees from prestigious institutions such as IE Business School and Universidad de Valladolid. Luis also contributes to entrepreneurship research as Director at Global Entrepreneurship Monitor and has experience mentoring startups at IE Business School.
