Luca Lazzaroli

Luca Lazzaroli serves as the Director General of Portfolio Management and Monitoring at the European Investment Bank (EIB) since April 2014, overseeing the management and monitoring of the Bank's financial assets. Previously, Luca held the position of Director General and Deputy Head of Operations, responsible for the execution of the Bank's annual corporate operating plan and the development of its loan, guarantee, and equity portfolio across various regions. From June 2006 to April 2014, Luca was the Deputy Secretary General at EIB, where roles included Director of Lending Operations for South East Europe and Head of the Spain - Infrastructure and PPP's Division. Educational qualifications include a degree in Economics and Finance from Sapienza Università di Roma and a brief study at Georgetown University in Economics.
