Marco Zimmermann

Marco Zimmermann serves as the Global Head of Treasury and Capital Markets at the European Investment Bank (EIB) since June 2023. Prior to this role, Marco was the Head of Treasury and Structured Finance at Ratepay from January 2022 to June 2023 and held the position of Head of Origination at Acatus GmbH from March 2021 to January 2022. Marco's extensive experience at Deutsche Bank spanned from July 1998 to March 2021, where various titles included Managing Director and Head of Funding, Treasury, as well as Director roles focusing on Treasury Strategy, Debt Issuance, and Treasury Team management. Marco began professional education at the Cooperative State University Karlsruhe, earning a Diplom Betriebswirt in Business Administration with a focus on Banking and Financial Services between 1995 and 1998.
