Andreas Sundgren

Andreas Sundgren is an experienced professional in the pharmaceutical and medicinal chemistry sectors, currently serving as Chair of the IWG/QWP group on QP declarations and as a member of the Task Force on Availability at the European Medicines Agency since 2016. Sundgren has held the position of Senior Adviser at Statens legemiddelverk since 2010, focusing on quality assessment and shortage prevention strategies. Previous roles include CEO of both SRBS Group and AB RIKTAD, and CTO and co-founder of EconExact. Sundgren's earlier experience includes positions as a Quality Assessor at the Icelandic Medicines Agency and Post-doctoral Research Fellow at the National Institutes of Health. Educational qualifications comprise a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Gothenburg and a Bachelor's degree in Organic Chemistry from multiple universities.
