Product Lead For Cardiovascular And Endocrine Diseases at European Medicines Agency

Daniela da Silva has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. From 2014 onwards, they have been working at the European Medicines Agency (EMA) in various roles. Daniela started as a Scientific and Regulatory Management Department Trainee and subsequently worked as a Scientific Officer, EMA Product Lead for Rheumatology, Respiratory, Gastroenterology and Immunology, and EMA Product Lead for Oncology, Hematology, and Diagnostics. In these positions, they provided support and input to the Rapporteurs and the Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) on regulatory science aspects of marketing authorization applications. Daniela reviewed assessment reports and conducted pre-submission meetings and peer-reviews. Prior to joining EMA, Daniela worked as a pharmacist at Pharmacy Afonso de Medeiros from 2013 to 2014. Daniela also had a brief trainee experience in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Hospital Professor Doutor Fernando Fonseca, EPE in 2013.

From 2007 to 2014, Daniela da Silva attended the Universidade do Algarve, where they completed their Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences. In 2010 to 2011, they also briefly studied Pharmaceutical Sciences at Aston University.
