Mike Galsworthy is an experienced professional with a diverse background in research, science policy, and journalism. Currently serving as Chair of the European Movement UK and Director at Bylines Networks Limited, Mike's work focuses on promoting local citizen journalism and advocating for the vital role of the EU in enhancing UK science through Scientists for EU. Previous positions include Senior Research Associate at University College London and The Royal College of Anaesthetists, Research Coordinator at the Institute of Public Health of the Republic of Slovenia, and a research fellow at the University of Zurich. Educational qualifications include a BA in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge and research training in behaviour genetics at the Institute of Psychiatry.

The European Movement is an international movement that exists to promote European values of peace, prosperity, and international cooperation. The European Movement started over 70 years ago. in 1949, and we continue to campaign for these values.
