Martin Tobin

Martin Tobin has extensive experience in the recycling and telecommunications sectors, serving as Chief Executive Officer of the European Recycling Platform (ERP) since September 2008, where responsibilities include ensuring compliance with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive and the Waste Battery Directive through innovative waste management strategies. Prior to this role, Martin held various positions at Alcatel-Lucent from January 2001 to September 2008, including Global Reverse Supply Chain Manager and Manufacturing & Planning Manager, where contributions focused on mobile, fixed, IP, and optics technologies. Earlier experience includes serving as Manufacturing Operations Manager at Benchmark Electronics and as Production Control Manager at Stratus Computer. Martin’s educational background includes studies at The Open University and the Irish Institute of Purchasing & Materials Management.
