Carles Gómara

Carles Gómara has extensive experience in innovation and digital transformation, currently serving as a Manager in the Innovation Department at ACCIÓ since February 2008 and as an Independent Expert (AI) at the European Research Executive Agency since March 2024. Gómara has been a guest speaker at various prestigious events, sharing insights on technology's role in enhancing competitiveness and discussing 5G initiatives in Barcelona. Additionally, Gómara has held leadership positions on the boards of the i2CAT Foundation and the TicSalut Foundation, promoting ICT development in health. Gómara holds an MBA in eBusiness from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and has completed education at Esade and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
