Elena Marchevska

Elena Marchevska is a prominent academic at London South Bank University, serving as a Professor and Associate Dean for Research & Enterprise since September 2012. In these roles, Elena has significantly contributed to research strategy and infrastructure projects, while also supporting departmental staff performance and enhancing student employability through enterprise integration. As an Associate Professor in Performance Studies, Elena teaches postgraduate and undergraduate programmes and is a seasoned supervisor of PhD and MRes students. Additionally, Elena holds positions with the Arts and Humanities Research Council and European Research Executive Agency as an expert evaluator and peer reviewer, respectively. Past roles include lectureships at various institutions and involvement in leadership development initiatives for women. Elena holds an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a PhD from the University of Northampton.
