João Neres is a seasoned professional in the field of medicinal chemistry and biochemistry, currently serving as a Project Adviser for the Marie Sklodowska Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships at the European Research Executive Agency since January 2022. Neres has significant experience in the pharmaceutical industry, having held the position of Principal Scientist at UCB from April 2015 to December 2021, where responsibilities included leading in vitro pharmacology projects and coordinating early drug discovery efforts.
