Paolo Tacconi

Paolo Tacconi is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in project management and engineering, currently serving as Project Adviser for MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships at the European Research Executive Agency since October 2021. Prior to this role, Paolo worked as a Project Manager at CINEA, where responsibilities included managing Horizon 2020 Energy Research projects with a focus on Wind and Ocean energy. Previous experience encompasses roles at Materialise as Sales Engineer and Project Manager, as well as engineering positions at LM Wind Power, where expertise in composites and structural design for wind blades was developed. Paolo holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Università degli Studi di Firenze, along with completion of professional engineering examinations and additional international education.
