Tea Zakula is an Associate Professor and Head of the Laboratory for Energy Efficiency at the University of Zagreb, where involvement spans from June 2013 to the present. In addition to academic responsibilities, Tea serves as the President of the Committee for Collaboration with Industry. Tea also holds multiple evaluation expert roles with various European Commission agencies, including DG Defence Industry and Space, the European Research Executive Agency, and CINEA, while contributing as a member of the Energy Transition Council advising the President of the Republic of Croatia. Educational qualifications include a PhD and MS in Building Technology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Dipl.Ing. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Zagreb. Prior experience includes research positions at Berkeley Lab and MIT, as well as advisory roles in the Croatian Ministry of Environment and Energy.
