Celine Genton has extensive work experience in the healthcare and medical research field. Celine started their career at SAKK in 2007 as a Monitor / Trial Coordinator, where they gained experience in clinical trials and project coordination. In 2009, they were promoted to the role of Head of Monitoring and Clinical Project Management at SAKK Swiss Group for Clinical Cancer Research. In this position, they were responsible for managing clinical trial proposals, evaluating their scientific relevance and feasibility, and providing support to investigators. Celine also supervised Clinical Project Managers and managed collaborations with Clinical Research Organizations. In 2015, Celine joined the European Respiratory Society as a Scientific Activities Manager and later became the Head of Scientific Activities in 2017. Their role involved overseeing scientific activities, managing budgets, and coordinating with stakeholders. Overall, Celine has a strong background in clinical research management and scientific activities coordination.

Celine Genton obtained their PhD in Biology from the University of Lausanne - UNIL, where they studied between the years 1996 and 2006. Celine also pursued further education by earning a Certificate in pharmaceutical medicine from the European Center of Pharmaceutical Medicine in Basel, which they completed from 2009 to 2011.
